Your Condo Board is pleased to announce that our annual owner’s meeting has been scheduled.

- Location: CDS Clubhouse*
*We will meet at the clubhouse per our By-Law requirements. During COVID, we had to make accommodations that allowed us to conduct meetings and vote by electronic means (Zoom). Now that the pandemic has passed we are mandated to return to the requirements of our by-laws. Owners unable to make it to Sandpoint to attend the meeting in person will be able to listen via Zoom but will not be allowed to interact or vote (per our attorney’s interpretation of our by-laws) We do not know if Zoom attendees can be counted to create a quorum so we are asking the following if you are unsure of your attendance. (If you give a proxy and show up at the meeting, the proxy can be canceled):
CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT A PROXY FORM, NAME A PERSON YOU TRUST TO VOTE YOUR PREFERENCES, THEN GIVE THE FORM TO THAT PERSON OR SEND IT TO THE OFFICE (301 IBERIAN WAY, SP, 83864) FOR THE BOARD TO GIVE TO THEM. WE MUST HAVE MORE THAN 50% OF THE OWNERSHIP TO DO BUSINESS AND ELECT BOARD MEMBERS. THE PROXY WILL ALLOW YOU TO BE COUNTED JUST FOR THE QUORUM OR ALLOW YOU TO ALSO HAVE SOMEONE VOTE ON YOUR BEHALF.
Two (2) board positions are open this year. If you are interested in running for the board, please introduce yourself to other owners through the information sheet posted on the website and also sent with this notice. If filled out in a timely fashion, they will be sent out to the membership at large and posted on our Facebook page.
There is a lot of important information being covered at the meeting this year: AC proposal, the introduction of several possible by-law changes, insurance issues, storage buildings, dog park, rental requirements, accessing and using the new gate, etc. One of the by-law changes in the works is the ability to conduct the annual meeting electronically (via Zoom) with a voting provision.
